Function & Working 

Jacketed plug valves consist of a body with integral or welded jackets that allow steam, oil, or hot water circulation around the valve chamber. This design maintains process fluid viscosity, prevents solidification, and enables smooth shutoff and throttling. The valve plug, usually PTFE-sleeved or metal-seated, rotates 90° for on-off service while ensuring tight sealing.
